Darling DIY: Jar Vases

Hello! We're back with some quick and easy DIYs, made with things around the house and just a few minutes!

We love all things vintage. And if we can't get vintage, we love vintage-inspired. The look of romance and whimsy just brings a little bit of extra magic to your day. We thought up these cute painted jar vases, and they looked perfect in our room! Made with just saved glass jars (I think we have salsa and tomato sauce here), some acrylic paint, and some ribbon, these cute vases are perfect for that little extra touch of decor. The trick is to paint the jars from the INSIDE. That way, you'll get the shiny, glossy finish from the glass itself. You may need to add a few coats so no streaks show (make sure you let the paint dry in between coats), and just place the jar upside-down so the excess paint can drip down. VOILA! We added a dainty lace ribbon around the edge, and some synthetic flowers made the look just perfect.
