DIY Eats: Lightened-Up PB Frosting

Our first experiment in frosting was surprisingly delicious! Most frosting, though delicious, are  filled with things that are really not good for you. But not this one! With simple ingredients from your pantry, you can whip up this frosting/icing/dessert all by itself in just a few minutes. The cream cheese gives it a very rich quality with almost no harm to your beautiful figure. We ate our batch right up- on our fave low-guilt brownies from Trader Joe's, our favorite healthy oatmeal cookies, and then with a spoon right out of the bowl.

We can't wait to make it again!

Let us know how you like it!

Ingredients:
1 cup non-fat plain greek yogurt
3 Tablespoons of your favorite peanut butter
2 Tablespoons of low fat cream cheese
2-4 Tablespoons of maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like it)
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Steps:
1. Beat together greek yogurt and peanut butter for 1 minute
2. Add in cream cheese and mix for another minute
3. Add maple syrup and vanilla
4. Refrigerate for 20-30 mintues
